What makes us special?

“At Bright Beginnings Daycare, we provide more than just childcare—we offer a home away from home where children feel safe, nurtured, and encouraged to explore the world around them. Our approach is built on love, learning, and individualized attention, ensuring that each child receives the care and guidance they need to grow with confidence.”

At Bright Beginnings, we offer a calm, engaging environment where babies and young children feel safe, supported, and eager to explore. Our approach is simple: we meet each child where they are and guide them forward—at their own pace.

  • Our nursery room is all about comfort and consistency. Babies follow familiar rhythms for sleep, meals, and play while building trust with the same caregivers each day. We focus on early movement, sensory discovery, and everyday routines that help little ones feel secure and seen.

  • For toddlers and preschoolers, we keep the day active, social, and structured in all the right ways. Children enjoy group time, creative play, music, stories, and simple activities that build early skills through repetition and real-world connection.

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”

  • We’re excited that you’re considering Bright beginnings for your child’s early learning and care! To make the enrollment process as smooth as possible, please follow these steps:

    1. Schedule a Tour:

      • To get to know our space, our staff, and our philosophy, we encourage you to schedule a tour. During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, explore our facilities, and see firsthand how we care for and educate the children in our program.

    2. Complete the Enrollment Form:

      • Once you’ve decided that Bright Beginnings is the right fit for your family, the next step is to fill out our enrollment form. This form will ask for basic information about your child (such as name, age, medical history, and emergency contacts) as well as any special needs or preferences you’d like us to know about.

    3. Submit Required Documents:

      • We require certain documents to ensure we’re able to care for your child in the best possible way. These documents include:

        • A copy of your child’s immunization records

        • Emergency contact information

        • Any health or allergy information

        • A birth certificate or other proof of age (if applicable)

    4. Sign the Enrollment Agreement:

      • The final step to complete your enrollment is reviewing and signing our Enrollment Agreement. This document outlines important policies and expectations for both parents and the daycare, including our hours of operation, payment policies, and any rules or guidelines for behavior.

    5. Payment & Deposit:

      • To secure your child’s spot, a deposit may be required along with the first payment for daycare services. Payment details and options will be provided during the enrollment process.

    1. Start Date:

      • After we’ve received all necessary documents, the deposit, and your signed agreement, we will confirm your child’s start date. On the first day, please bring any personal items your child might need (like a change of clothes, snacks, or comfort items) and feel free to ask any last-minute questions.

  • At Bright Begginings, the health and safety of the children in our care are our top priority. We understand that children can sometimes get sick unexpectedly, but it is important to help prevent the spread of illness to others. To maintain a healthy and safe environment, we ask that parents adhere to the following guidelines regarding illness:

    1. When to Keep Your Child Home:

      • Children should stay home if they exhibit any of the following symptoms:

        • Fever (above 100.4°F / 38°C)

        • Vomiting or diarrhea

        • Unexplained rashes

        • Coughing or congestion

        • Runny nose with green or yellow discharge

        • Sore throat

        • Eye infection (pink eye)

        • Lice or other contagious conditions

        • Any contagious illness that can spread to others

    2. When Your Child Can Return:

      • Children must be symptom-free for at least 24 hours (without medication) before returning to daycare.

      • If your child has been diagnosed with a contagious illness (such as strep throat, flu, or hand, foot, and mouth disease), they must remain at home until they are no longer contagious as advised by a doctor.

      • A doctor's note may be required to return after a contagious illness.

    3. Notification:

      • If your child is showing symptoms of illness while at daycare we will notify you immediately to pick them up. We ask that you make arrangements for prompt pick-up to minimize exposure to other children.

      • In case of an emergency or if your child requires medical attention, we will contact emergency services and inform you as soon as possible.

    4. Hand Hygiene and Cleaning:

      • We practice regular handwashing and sanitize frequently touched surfaces to prevent the spread of germs.

      • We will ensure they are separated from the other children until you arrive for pick-up.

    5. Vacation or Extended Absence:

      • If your child will be absent for more than three consecutive days due to illness, please let us know so we can plan accordingly.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping keep all children healthy and safe in our daycare environment. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.
